M.A. from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.A. with honors from the University of Maryland. Venture capitalist investing in technology start-ups in the US and China. Founder of Atypical Ventures, an early-stage technology investment firm. Co-founder of DCM China, a venture capital firm. Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, Vice President in Goldman Sachs’ technology media and telecommunication banking group in the US. Former advisor to and a shareholder in EcarX Holdings, Inc (Nasdaq: ECX), and former member of the Nomination and Corporate Committee and the Compensation Committee of Unilever (NYSE: UL).
